Below are a few questions to spark your thinking an inspire a conversation about this past chapter.
- When and where do you tend to be the most reactive?
- Give an example of a proactive choice you've made?
- Do you find yourself to be more proactive or more reactive? Explain why.
Be Proactive - Goals
1. Write yourself a Post-It note: "I will not let __________________________________ decide how I am going to feel." Place it in your locker, on your mirror, or in your planner and refer to it often.
2. Identify something in your circle of no control that you are always worrying about. Decide now to drop it.
3. Use your tool of self-awareness right now by asking yourself, "What is my most unhealthy habit?" Make up your mind to do something about it.
Most unhealthy habit: ____________________________________________________________________________.
What I'm going to do about it: ______________________________________________________________________.
